If you are searching for a Thanksgiving weekend ticket, you should note that traveling on certain days will likely allow you to obtain lower fares.

The Deal:
You are probably aware that traveling (via air) the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the Sunday after Thanksgiving will be very expensive. When booking your Thanksgiving ticket, you should look to the morning of Thanksgiving and the Saturday or Monday after Thanksgiving to save some money (Tuesday may be significantly less expensive than Monday). But if you really want to save money, you may want to consider taking the entire week as vacation. If you travel the Friday of the week before Thanksgiving to the Friday immediately following Thanksgiving, you will likely save a tremendous amount of money.
