I'll admit it - I used to always book the smallest car when booking a car rental in an attempt to save money.  You know that tiny car that the car rental company really does not want to rent - I would take it.  Well, that might not be the smartest decision anymore.  Car rental companies frequently have car rental coupons that are only good on some of those larger cars.  (Here is one example - if you rent the "luxury" class car with Hertz, you get $50 off for a week - see Hertz Coupon.)  Many times, the larger car with a car rental coupon is actually cheaper than a smaller car witthout a coupon.  Check it out on your next rental.
