If you are staying multiple days in a hotel, you might want to consider booking your hotel stay piecemeal to ensure you find the best rates.

The Deal:
Sometimes, the total rate at a hotel for five nights is higher than the total rate for a three night booking followed by a separate two night booking (or some other variation that adds to five total nights). Most people do not think about booking separate reservations when staying for an extended time at a hotel, but it may save you money, especially if your multi-day stay is partially over a weekend. Be sure to check whether making separate bookings saves you money - you may be pleasantly surprised.
