If you travel frequently between Boston, New York and Washington, you should note that Amtrak is offering very competitive weekend prices for travel between these cities.

The Deal:
Amtrak is offering $49/way rates for weekend travel between Boston & New York and New York & Washington. Competitive rates are also available for travel to Philadelphia and Baltimore. These rates will likely continue to remain low due to fierce competition between Amtrak and airlines in these markets, including new service by Southwest Airlines between Baltimore/Washington (BWI) and New York LaGuardia (LGA), with fares starting at $49/way.
