Travel Deal of the Day (October 30, 2007)

Borders is offering 30% off of its books for today and tomorrow – normally I would not focus on such a sale, but this Borders sale will actually allow you to purchase a book (at a discount) that provides excellent travel deals.

The Deal:
The two-day 30% off sale at Borders can be a great opportunity to purchase an Entertainment coupon book at a great discount. The Entertainment book offers excellent airfare, hotel and car discounts. Most of the book’s coupons are valid from now until late 2008. Using the 30% off discount makes the book an especially good value. You must bring in a 30% off coupon (available via the link below) by Wednesday October 31 to be eligible for the sale.

The Inside Scoop:
Most Entertainment Book coupons are valid from November of one year until November of the next year. The Entertainment Book always goes on sale during the spring and is heaving discounted by summer. However, the book is rarely on sale during October/November/December. This is a great opportunity to get a discounted Entertainment Book if you intend to use the discounts very soon.
